14:1 Ye [are] the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
14:1 너희는 주 너희 하나님의 자손이니 너희는 죽은 자를 위하여 자신을 베지 말고 너희 양 눈 사이에 털을 밀지 말지니라.
14:2 For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that [are] upon the earth.
14:2 이는 네가 주 너의 하나님께 거룩한 백성이요, 주께서 지상의 모든 민족 가운데서 너를 택하여 자신에게 속한 친백성이 되게 하셨음이라.
14:3 Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
14:3 너는 어떠한 가증한 것도 먹지 말라.
14:4 These [are] the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
14:4 너희가 먹어도 되는 짐승은 이러하니, 즉 소와 양과 염소와
14:5 The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.
14:5 수사슴과 수노루와 불그스름한 사슴과 산양과 영양과 들소와 샤무아니라.
14:6 And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, [and] cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.
14:6 짐승들 중에서 굽이 나뉘어 발가락 틈이 두 개로 갈라지고 되새김질하는 모든 짐승은 너희가 먹을 것이니라.
14:7 Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; [as] the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; [therefore] they [are] unclean unto you.
14:7 그러나 되새김질하거나 갈라진 굽으로 나눠진 것들 중에서도 이런 것들은 너희가 먹지 못할지니, 즉 낙타와 산토끼와 바위너구리니라. 그것들이 되새김질을 해도 굽이 갈라지지 아니하였으니 그것들은 너희에게 불결하니라.
14:8 And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it [is] unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
14:8 또 돼지는 굽이 갈라졌으나 되새김질을 하지 아니하므로 너희에게 불결하니라. 너희는 그것들의 고기도 먹지 말 것이며 그 사체도 만지지 말지니라.
14:9 These ye shall eat of all that [are] in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
14:9 물에 있는 모든 것 중에서 이런 것들은 너희가 먹을지니, 즉 지느러미와 비늘이 있는 모든 것은 너희가 먹을 것이며
14:10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it [is] unclean unto you.
14:10 지느러미와 비늘이 없는 것은 무엇이든지 먹지 말지니 그것은 너희에게 불결하니라.
14:11 [Of] all clean birds ye shall eat.
14:11 모든 깨끗한 새는 너희가 먹을 것이나
14:12 But these [are they] of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
14:12 이런 것들은 너희가 먹지 말지니, 즉 독수리와 바다수리와 물수리와
14:13 And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,
14:13 새매와 솔개와 수리 종류와
14:14 And every raven after his kind,
14:14 모든 갈가마귀 종류와
14:15 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
14:15 올빼미와 밤매와 뻐꾸기와 매 종류와
14:16 The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,
14:16 작은 부엉이와 큰 부엉이와 백조와
14:17 And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant,
14:17 펠리컨과 작은 독수리와 가마우지와
14:18 And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
14:18 황새와 왜가리 종류와 물떼새와 박쥐 등이라.
14:19 And every creeping thing that flieth [is] unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.
14:19 또 날으며 기어다니는 모든 것은 너희에게 불결하니 그것들은 먹지 말지니라.
14:20 [But of] all clean fowls ye may eat.
14:20 그러나 모든 깨끗한 새들은 너희가 먹을 수 있느니라.
14:21 Ye shall not eat [of] any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that [is] in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
14:21 너희는 스스로 죽은 것은 먹지 말지니라. 너는 그것을 네 성문들 안에 있는 타국인에게 주어서 먹게 하거나, 아니면 외국인에게 그것을 팔 수 있느니라. 이는 네가 주 너의 하나님께 거룩한 백성임이라. 너는 염소 새끼를 그 어미의 젖에 삶지 말지니라.
14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
14:22 너는 마땅히 해마다 밭에서 나는 모든 소산에서 십일조를 바칠 것이며
14:23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
14:23 너는 주 너의 하나님 앞에서 네 곡식과 네 포도주와 네 기름의 십일조와 네 소떼와 네 양떼의 첫태생들을 그 분께서 자기의 이름을 두시려고 선정하실 곳에서 먹을지니라. 그리하여 너는 주 너의 하나님을 두려워하는 것을 항상 배울지니라.
14:24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; [or] if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
14:24 만일 주 너의 하나님께서 자기의 이름을 두시려고 선정하실 곳이 너로부터 너무 멀거나 그 길이 너무 길어서, 주 너의 하나님께서 너에게 복 주신 것을 네가 가지고 갈 수 없게 되면
14:25 Then shalt thou turn [it] into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
14:25 너는 그것을 돈으로 바꿔 그 돈을 싸서 네 손에 들고 주 너의 하나님께서 선정하실 곳으로 가서
14:26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,
14:26 네가 네 마음에 원하는 것은 무엇이나 돈으로 살지니, 소나 양이나 포도주나 독주나 네 마음에 드는 것을 구하여 거기서 주 너의 하나님 앞에서 먹고 너와 네 가족과 더불어 즐거워할지니라.
14:27 And the Levite that [is] within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.
14:27 네 성문들 안에 거하는 레위인을 너는 저버리지 말지니, 이는 그가 너와 함께 몫이나 유업이 없음이라.
14:28 At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay [it] up within thy gates:
14:28 매 삼 년 끝에 너는 그 해의 네 소산에서 모든 십일조를 내어 네 성문들 안에 쌓아 두어
14:29 And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which [are] within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
14:29 레위인과 (그는 너와 함께 몫이나 유업이 없으니) 네 성문들 안에 거하는 타국인과 아비 없는 자와 과부가 와서 먹고 배부르게 할지니, 그리함으로 주 너의 하나님께서 네가 하는 네 손의 모든 일에서 너에게 복을 주시리라.
14:1 너희는 주 너희 하나님의 자손이니 너희는 죽은 자를 위하여 자신을 베지 말고 너희 양 눈 사이에 털을 밀지 말지니라.
14:2 For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that [are] upon the earth.
14:2 이는 네가 주 너의 하나님께 거룩한 백성이요, 주께서 지상의 모든 민족 가운데서 너를 택하여 자신에게 속한 친백성이 되게 하셨음이라.

14:3 너는 어떠한 가증한 것도 먹지 말라.
14:4 These [are] the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,
14:4 너희가 먹어도 되는 짐승은 이러하니, 즉 소와 양과 염소와

14:7 그러나 되새김질하거나 갈라진 굽으로 나눠진 것들 중에서도 이런 것들은 너희가 먹지 못할지니, 즉 낙타와 산토끼와 바위너구리니라. 그것들이 되새김질을 해도 굽이 갈라지지 아니하였으니 그것들은 너희에게 불결하니라.

14:8 또 돼지는 굽이 갈라졌으나 되새김질을 하지 아니하므로 너희에게 불결하니라. 너희는 그것들의 고기도 먹지 말 것이며 그 사체도 만지지 말지니라.

14:9 물에 있는 모든 것 중에서 이런 것들은 너희가 먹을지니, 즉 지느러미와 비늘이 있는 모든 것은 너희가 먹을 것이며
14:10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it [is] unclean unto you.
14:10 지느러미와 비늘이 없는 것은 무엇이든지 먹지 말지니 그것은 너희에게 불결하니라.
14:11 [Of] all clean birds ye shall eat.
14:11 모든 깨끗한 새는 너희가 먹을 것이나
14:12 But these [are they] of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

14:21 Ye shall not eat [of] any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that [is] in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
14:21 너희는 스스로 죽은 것은 먹지 말지니라. 너는 그것을 네 성문들 안에 있는 타국인에게 주어서 먹게 하거나, 아니면 외국인에게 그것을 팔 수 있느니라. 이는 네가 주 너의 하나님께 거룩한 백성임이라. 너는 염소 새끼를 그 어미의 젖에 삶지 말지니라.

14:24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; [or] if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
14:24 만일 주 너의 하나님께서 자기의 이름을 두시려고 선정하실 곳이 너로부터 너무 멀거나 그 길이 너무 길어서, 주 너의 하나님께서 너에게 복 주신 것을 네가 가지고 갈 수 없게 되면

14:27 네 성문들 안에 거하는 레위인을 너는 저버리지 말지니, 이는 그가 너와 함께 몫이나 유업이 없음이라.

14:29 레위인과 (그는 너와 함께 몫이나 유업이 없으니) 네 성문들 안에 거하는 타국인과 아비 없는 자와 과부가 와서 먹고 배부르게 할지니, 그리함으로 주 너의 하나님께서 네가 하는 네 손의 모든 일에서 너에게 복을 주시리라.
