6:1 Woe to them [that are] at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, [which are] named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!
6:1 시온에 평안히 있는 자들과 사마리아의 산을 믿는 자들, 곧 이스라엘 집이 따르는 민족들의 이름난 우두머리라 불리는 자들에게 화로다.
6:2 Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: [be they] better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border?
6:2 너희는 칼네로 건너가서 보라. 너희는 거기서부터 큰 성읍 하맛으로 가서 필리스티아인들의 가드로 내려가라. 그들이 이 왕국들보다 나으냐? 아니면 그들의 변경이 너희의 변경보다 더 크냐?
6:3 Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;
6:3 너희는 악한 날을 멀리 두고 폭력의 자리를 가까이 오게 하며
6:4 That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall;
6:4 상아 침상들 위에 누우며 그들의 평상들 위에서 기지개를 펴며 양무리에서는 어린 양들을, 우리 가운데서는 송아지들을 취하여 먹으며
6:5 That chant to the sound of the viol, [and] invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;
6:5 비올 소리에 맞춰 노래 부르고 다윗처럼 스스로 악기를 만들며
6:6 That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.
6:6 대접으로 포도주를 마시고 귀한 기름을 자기들에게 부으면서도 요셉의 고난으로 인해 슬퍼하지 아니하는도다.
6:7 Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.
6:7 그러므로 이제 그들은 사로잡혀 가는 자 중에 첫째로 사로잡혀 갈 것이며 기지개를 폈던 자들의 연회도 그치리라.
6:8 The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.
6:8 주 만군의 하나님이 말하노라. 주 하나님이 스스로 맹세하기를 '나는 야곱의 탁월함을 증오하며 그의 궁전들을 미워하느니라. 그러므로 내가 그 성읍을 그 안에 있는 모든 것과 함께 넘겨주리라.' 하였노라.
6:9 And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.
6:9 한 집에 열 사람이 남는다 해도 그들이 죽으리라.
6:10 And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that [is] by the sides of the house, [Is there] yet [any] with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.
6:10 사람의 삼촌이 그를 취할 것이요 그를 태우는 자가 그 집에서 뼈들을 가지고 나오기 위해 그 집 곁에 있는 사람에게 말하기를 "너와 함께한 자가 아직 있느냐?" 할 것이요, 그가 "없다"고 말하리라. 그러면 그 사람이 말하기를 "말하지 말라. 이는 우리가 주의 이름을 일컬을 수 없음이니라." 하리니,
6:11 For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.
6:11 이는 보라, 주가 명하노니 그가 큰 집을 쳐서 훼파할 것이요, 작은 집을 쳐서 틈이 갈라지게 할 것임이니라.
6:12 Shall horses run upon the rock? will [one] plow [there] with oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock:
6:12 말들이 바위 위에서 달릴 수 있겠느냐? 사람이 거기서 소들로 밭을 갈겠느냐? 이는 너희가 공의를 쓸개로 바꾸었고 의의 열매를 독초로 바꾸었음이라.
6:13 Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?
6:13 너희가 아무것도 아닌 것을 기뻐하며 말하기를 "우리가 우리 자신의 힘으로 뿔들을 뽑지 아니하였느냐?" 하는도다.
6:14 But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.
6:14 그러나 보라, 주 만군의 하나님이 말하노라. 오 이스라엘 집아, 내가 너희를 대적하여 한 민족을 일으키리니, 그들이 하맛 입구에서부터 광야의 강까지 너희를 괴롭히리라."
