23:1 So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.
23:1 다윗이 늙고 연수가 차니, 그가 그의 아들 솔로몬을 이스라엘을 다스리는 왕으로 삼으니라.
23:2 And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
23:2 그리고 그가 이스라엘의 모든 고관들과 제사장들과 레위인들을 함께 모았더라.
23:3 Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand.
23:3 레위인들을 삼십 세부터 그 이상으로 계수하니, 남자로 된 명단의 수가 삼만 팔천 명이요
23:4 Of which, twenty and four thousand [were] to set forward the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand [were] officers and judges:
23:4 그 중에서 이만 사천 명은 주의 전의 일을 돕는 자들이며, 육천 명은 관원들과 재판관들이요,
23:5 Moreover four thousand [were] porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, [said David], to praise [therewith].
23:5 사천 명은 문지기들이요, 사천 명은 다윗이 말하기를, "내가 찬양하려고 만든 악기들로 주를 찬양하리라." 한 자들이라.
23:6 And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, [namely], Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
23:6 다윗이 레위의 아들들 게르손, 코핫, 므라리 가운데서 계열을 나누니라.
23:7 Of the Gershonites [were], Laadan, and Shimei.
23:7 게르손인들에서는 라아단과 시므이요
23:8 The sons of Laadan; the chief [was] Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.
23:8 라아단의 아들들은 우두머리 여히엘과, 세담과, 요엘, 셋이요
23:9 The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These [were] the chief of the fathers of Laadan.
23:9 시므이의 아들들은 슬로밋과, 하시엘과, 하란, 셋이니, 이들은 라아단 조상의 우두머리들이요
23:10 And the sons of Shimei [were], Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four [were] the sons of Shimei.
23:10 시므이의 아들들은 야핫과, 시나와, 여우스와, 브랴니, 이들 넷은 시므이의 아들들이더라.
23:11 And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to [their] father's house.
23:11 야핫이 우두머리요, 둘째는 시사이나, 여우스와 브랴는 아들이 많지 아니하므로 그들이 그들 조상의 집을 따라 하나로 계수되었더라.
23:12 The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
23:12 코핫의 아들들은 암람, 이스할, 헤브론과, 웃시엘, 넷이요
23:13 The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever.
23:13 암람의 아들들은 아론과 모세이며, 아론은 그의 아들들과 함께 영원히 성별되었으니, 지극히 거룩한 것들을 성결케 하여 주 앞에 분향하고 그를 섬기며 그의 이름으로 영원히 축복하게 하려 함이더라.
23:14 Now [concerning] Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi.
23:14 이제 하나님의 사람 모세에 관하여 보자면, 그의 아들들은 레위 지파 중에 이름이 기록되었더라.
23:15 The sons of Moses [were], Gershom, and Eliezer.
23:15 모세의 아들들은 게르솜과 엘리에셀이니
23:16 Of the sons of Gershom, Shebuel [was] the chief.
23:16 게르솜의 아들들 중에서는 스브엘이 우두머리요
23:17 And the sons of Eliezer [were], Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had none other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.
23:17 엘리에셀의 아들들은 우두머리로 르하뱌요, 엘리에셀에게는 다른 아들이 없으나, 르하뱌의 아들들은 심히 많더라.
23:18 Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief.
23:18 이스할의 아들들 중에서는 우두머리 슬로밋이요
23:19 Of the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
23:19 헤브론의 아들들 중에는 첫째 여리야, 둘째 아마랴, 셋째 야하시엘과, 넷째 여카므암이더라.
23:20 Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah the first, and Jesiah the second.
23:20 웃시엘의 아들들 중에서는 첫째 미카와, 둘째 여시야더라.
23:21 The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish.
23:21 므라리의 아들들은 말리와 무시요, 말리의 아들들은 엘르아살과 키스라.
23:22 And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them.
23:22 엘르아살이 죽었는데 아들은 없고 딸들만 있더라. 그들의 형제 키스의 아들들이 그들을 취하였더라.
23:23 The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three.
23:23 무시의 아들들은 말리와, 에델과, 여레못, 셋이더라.
23:24 These [were] the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; [even] the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.
23:24 이들이 그들 조상의 집을 따른 레위의 아들들이니, 그들은 족장들로, 이십 세부터 그 이상이 그들의 명단에 이름대로 계수되어 주의 전을 섬기는 일을 하였더라.
23:25 For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:
23:25 다윗이 말하기를 "이스라엘의 주 하나님께서 그의 백성에게 안식을 주시어 그들로 예루살렘에서 영원히 거하게 하셨으며
23:26 And also unto the Levites; they shall no [more] carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.
23:26 레위인들에게도 그리하셨으니, 그들이 다시는 성막을 옮기지 않을 것이며, 성막 봉사에 쓰이는 기명들도 옮기지 않을 것이니라." 하였더라.
23:27 For by the last words of David the Levites [were] numbered from twenty years old and above:
23:27 다윗의 유언에 따라 레위인들이 이십 세로부터 그 이상이 계수되었으니
23:28 Because their office [was] to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;
23:28 그들의 임무는 아론의 아들들에게 수종들어 주의 전과 뜰과 방과 모든 거룩한 물건들을 정결케 하는 일에 섬기고, 또 하나님의 전의 섬기는 일과,
23:29 Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for [that which is baked in] the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
23:29 차려 놓은 빵과 음식제사를 위한 고운 가루와, 누룩 없는 과자와, 철판에 굽는 것과, 튀기는 것과, 모든 계량과 치수를 맡았으며,
23:30 And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even;
23:30 매일 아침 서서 주께 감사와 찬양을 드리고 저녁에도 그리하며,
23:31 And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD:
23:31 또 안식일과 새 달과 정한 명절에 주께 모든 번제를 드리되, 그들에게 명한 규례를 따라 수대로 계속해서 주 앞에 드리고
23:32 And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy [place], and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
23:32 그들로 회중의 성막의 직무와, 성소의 직무와, 그들 형제 아론의 아들들의 직무를 지켜 주의 전에서 섬기는 것이었더라.
23:1 다윗이 늙고 연수가 차니, 그가 그의 아들 솔로몬을 이스라엘을 다스리는 왕으로 삼으니라.

23:2 그리고 그가 이스라엘의 모든 고관들과 제사장들과 레위인들을 함께 모았더라.

23:3 레위인들을 삼십 세부터 그 이상으로 계수하니, 남자로 된 명단의 수가 삼만 팔천 명이요
23:4 Of which, twenty and four thousand [were] to set forward the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand [were] officers and judges:
23:4 그 중에서 이만 사천 명은 주의 전의 일을 돕는 자들이며, 육천 명은 관원들과 재판관들이요,

23:6 다윗이 레위의 아들들 게르손, 코핫, 므라리 가운데서 계열을 나누니라.
23:7 Of the Gershonites [were], Laadan, and Shimei.
23:7 게르손인들에서는 라아단과 시므이요
23:8 The sons of Laadan; the chief [was] Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.
23:8 라아단의 아들들은 우두머리 여히엘과, 세담과, 요엘, 셋이요
23:9 The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These [were] the chief of the fathers of Laadan.
23:9 시므이의 아들들은 슬로밋과, 하시엘과, 하란, 셋이니, 이들은 라아단 조상의 우두머리들이요
23:10 And the sons of Shimei [were], Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four [were] the sons of Shimei.
23:10 시므이의 아들들은 야핫과, 시나와, 여우스와, 브랴니, 이들 넷은 시므이의 아들들이더라.
23:11 And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to [their] father's house.
23:11 야핫이 우두머리요, 둘째는 시사이나, 여우스와 브랴는 아들이 많지 아니하므로 그들이 그들 조상의 집을 따라 하나로 계수되었더라.

23:12 코핫의 아들들은 암람, 이스할, 헤브론과, 웃시엘, 넷이요
23:13 The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever.
23:13 암람의 아들들은 아론과 모세이며, 아론은 그의 아들들과 함께 영원히 성별되었으니, 지극히 거룩한 것들을 성결케 하여 주 앞에 분향하고 그를 섬기며 그의 이름으로 영원히 축복하게 하려 함이더라.
23:14 Now [concerning] Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi.
23:14 이제 하나님의 사람 모세에 관하여 보자면, 그의 아들들은 레위 지파 중에 이름이 기록되었더라.
23:15 The sons of Moses [were], Gershom, and Eliezer.
23:15 모세의 아들들은 게르솜과 엘리에셀이니
23:16 Of the sons of Gershom, Shebuel [was] the chief.
23:16 게르솜의 아들들 중에서는 스브엘이 우두머리요
23:17 And the sons of Eliezer [were], Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had none other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.
23:17 엘리에셀의 아들들은 우두머리로 르하뱌요, 엘리에셀에게는 다른 아들이 없으나, 르하뱌의 아들들은 심히 많더라.
23:18 Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief.
23:18 이스할의 아들들 중에서는 우두머리 슬로밋이요
23:19 Of the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
