5:1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.
5:1 모세가 온 이스라엘을 불러 그들에게 말하더라. 오 이스라엘아, 오늘 너희에게 말하는 규례들과 명령들을 들으라. 이는 너희로 그것들을 배우고 지키며 그것들을 행하게 하려 함이라.
5:2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.
5:2 주 우리 하나님께서 호렙에서 우리와 더불어 언약을 맺으셨도다.
5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, [even] us, who [are] all of us here alive this day.
5:3 주께서는 이 언약을 우리의 조상과 더불어 맺으신 것이 아니고 우리와 더불어 맺으신 것이니, 우리 곧 오늘 여기에 살아 있는 우리 모두와 맺으신 것이라.
5:4 The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,
5:4 주께서는 산에서 불 가운데서 너희와 대면하여 말씀하셨으니
5:5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,
5:5 (내가 그 때에 주와 너희 사이에 서서 주의 말씀을 너희에게 전하였으니 이는 너희가 불 때문에 두려워하여 산에 오르지 못하였음이라.) 말씀하시기를
5:6 I [am] the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
5:6 "나는 이집트 땅 종의 집에서 너를 인도하여 낸 주 너의 하나님이니라.
5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
5:7 너는 내 앞에 다른 어떤 신들도 가져서는 안될 것이니라.
5:8 Thou shalt not make thee [any] graven image, [or] any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the waters beneath the earth:
5:8 너는 네게 어떤 새긴 우상이나 위로 하늘에 있는 것이나 아래로 땅에 있는 것이나 땅 아래 물에 있는 것의 어떤 모습도 만들지 말며
5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me,
5:9 너는 그것들에게 절하지 말고 그것들을 섬기지 말지니라. 나 주 너의 하나님은 질투하는 하나님이라. 나를 미워하는 자들의 삼사 대에 이르는 자손들에게 그 조상의 죄악을 벌하며
5:10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
5:10 나를 사랑하고 나의 계명들을 지키는 자들에게는 수천 대까지 자비를 베푸느니라.
5:11 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
5:11 너는 주 너의 하나님의 이름을 헛되이 일컫지 말라. 주는 그의 이름을 헛되이 일컫는 자를 죄 없다 여기지 아니하리라.
5:12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
5:12 주 너의 하나님이 네게 명령한 대로 안식일을 지켜 그것을 거룩하게 하라.
5:13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
5:13 육 일 동안 너는 수고하여 네 모든 일을 행할 것이나
5:14 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
5:14 일곱째 날은 주 너의 하나님의 안식일이니 그 날에 너는 어떤 일도 하지 말며, 너나 네 아들이나 네 딸이나 네 남종이나 네 여종이나 네 수소나 네 나귀나 네 가축의 어떤 것이나 네 대문 안에 있는 네 나그네도 일하지 말며, 네 남종이나 네 여종도 너와 마찬가지로 쉴지니라.
5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and [that] the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
5:15 네가 이집트 땅에서 종이었던 것과 주 너의 하나님이 그의 강력한 손과 편 팔로 거기서 너를 인도하여 낸 것을 기억하라. 그러므로 주 너의 하나님이 안식일을 지키라고 네게 명령하였느니라.
5:16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
5:16 주 너의 하나님이 네게 명령한 대로 네 아비와 네 어미를 공경하라. 그리하면 주 너의 하나님이 네게 준 그 땅에서 네 날들이 길어지고 네가 잘되리라.
5:17 Thou shalt not kill.
5:17 너는 살인하지 말지니라.
5:18 Neither shalt thou commit adultery.
5:18 너는 간음하지도 말지니라.
5:19 Neither shalt thou steal.
5:19 너는 도둑질하지도 말지니라.
5:20 Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.
5:20 너는 네 이웃에 대하여 거짓 증거하지도 말지니라.
5:21 Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any [thing] that [is] thy neighbour's.
5:21 너는 네 이웃의 아내를 바라지도 말며, 네 이웃의 집이나 그의 들이나 그의 남종이나 그의 여종이나 그의 소나 그의 나귀나 네 이웃의 것은 무엇이나 탐내지도 말지니라." 하셨느니라.
5:22 These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.
5:22 이 말씀들을 주께서 산에서 너희 온 집회에게 불 가운데서 구름과 흑암 속에서 큰 음성으로 말씀하시고, 더이상 덧붙이지 않으셨느니라. 그 분께서 그 말씀들을 두 돌판에 써서 내게 건네주셨느니라.
5:23 And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, [even] all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;
5:23 너희가 어둠 가운데서 나오는 그 음성을 들었을 때에 (그 산이 불로 탔으므로) 너희 온 지파의 우두머리들과 너희의 장로들이 내게 가까이 왔으며
5:24 And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
5:24 너희가 말하기를 "보소서, 주 우리 하나님께서 주의 영광과 주의 위대하심을 우리에게 보여 주셔서 우리가 불 가운데서 나오는 주의 음성을 들었으며 하나님께서 사람과 대화하시며 그가 살아 있음을 오늘 우리가 보았나이다.
5:25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.
5:25 그러므로 이제 우리가 어찌하여 죽어야 하리이까? 이 큰 불이 우리를 소멸시킬 것이요, 만일 우리가 주 우리 하나님의 음성을 더 듣는다면 우리가 죽을 것이니이다.
5:26 For who [is there of] all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we [have], and lived?
5:26 모든 육체를 가진 자 중에서 우리처럼 불 가운데서 말씀하시는 살아 계신 하나님의 음성을 듣고 살아 있는 자가 누구니이까?
5:27 Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear [it], and do [it].
5:27 당신은 가까이 나아가서 주 우리 하나님께서 말씀하실 모든 것을 듣고 주 우리 하나님께서 당신에게 말씀하실 모든 것을 우리에게 말하소서. 그리하면 우리가 그것을 듣고 그것을 행하겠나이다." 하였느니라.
5:28 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.
5:28 주께서 너희가 내게 말했을 때에 너희의 말소리를 들으시고, 주께서 내게 말씀하시기를 "내가 이 백성이 너에게 말한 그 말소리들을 들었으니, 그들이 말한 모든 것이 옳도다.
5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
5:29 그들 안에 그러한 마음이 있어 나를 두려워하고 나의 모든 명령을 항상 지켜 그들이 잘되고 그들의 자손이 영원히 잘되기를 원하노라!
5:30 Go say to them, Get you into your tents again.
5:30 가서 그들에게 말하기를 '너희는 너희의 장막으로 다시 들어가라.' 하라.
5:31 But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do [them] in the land which I give them to possess it.
5:31 그러나 너는 여기 내 곁에 서 있으라. 그리하면 내가 너에게 모든 계명들과 규례들과 명령들을 말하리니, 너는 그들에게 가르쳐 내가 그들에게 차지하라고 주는 그 땅에서 그것들을 행하게 하라." 하셨나니
5:32 Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
5:32 그러므로 너희는 주 너희 하나님께서 너희에게 명령하신 대로 지켜 행하여 오른편이나 왼편으로 치우치지 말지니라.
5:33 Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and [that it may be] well with you, and [that] ye may prolong [your] days in the land which ye shall possess.
5:33 너희는 주 너희 하나님께서 너희에게 명령하신 모든 길로 행하라. 그리하면 너희가 살 것이며 너희가 잘되고 너희가 차지하는 그 땅에서 너희 날들이 길어지리라.

5:24 너희가 말하기를 "보소서, 주 우리 하나님께서 주의 영광과 주의 위대하심을 우리에게 보여 주셔서 우리가 불 가운데서 나오는 주의 음성을 들었으며 하나님께서 사람과 대화하시며 그가 살아 있음을 오늘 우리가 보았나이다.
5:25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.
5:25 그러므로 이제 우리가 어찌하여 죽어야 하리이까? 이 큰 불이 우리를 소멸시킬 것이요, 만일 우리가 주 우리 하나님의 음성을 더 듣는다면 우리가 죽을 것이니이다.
5:26 For who [is there of] all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we [have], and lived?
5:26 모든 육체를 가진 자 중에서 우리처럼 불 가운데서 말씀하시는 살아 계신 하나님의 음성을 듣고 살아 있는 자가 누구니이까?
5:27 Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear [it], and do [it].
5:27 당신은 가까이 나아가서 주 우리 하나님께서 말씀하실 모든 것을 듣고 주 우리 하나님께서 당신에게 말씀하실 모든 것을 우리에게 말하소서. 그리하면 우리가 그것을 듣고 그것을 행하겠나이다." 하였느니라.
5:28 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.
5:28 주께서 너희가 내게 말했을 때에 너희의 말소리를 들으시고, 주께서 내게 말씀하시기를 "내가 이 백성이 너에게 말한 그 말소리들을 들었으니, 그들이 말한 모든 것이 옳도다.
