List50:1 Then Joseph fell on his father's face, and wept over him, and kissed him.

50:16 So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, "Your father gave this command before he died,

50:17 'Say to Joseph: I beg you, forgive the crime of your brothers and the wrong they did in harming you.' Now therefore please forgive the crime of the servants of the God of your father." Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
50:18 His brothers also came and fell down before him, and said, "Behold, we are your servants."

50:19 But Joseph said to them, "Fear not, for am I in the place of God?

50:20 As for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
50:20 Even though you intended to do harm to me, God intended it for good, in order to preserve a numerous people, as he is doing today.
50:21 So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones." Thus he reassured them and comforted them.
