3:1 Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
3:2 ①Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.

3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
3:4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
3:5 Therefore, ①treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which ②amounts to idolatry.

3:6 For it is because of these things that the wrath of God is coming ①upon the ②sons of disobedience,

3:10 and have put on the new self, which is being ①renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it—

3:12 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and ①patience;

3:13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.
3:14 In addition to all these things put on love, which is ①the perfect bond of unity.

3:15 Let the peace of Christ, to which you were ①indeed called in one body, ②rule in your hearts; and ③be thankful.

3:16 Let the word of ①Christ richly dwell within you, ②with all wisdom teaching and admonishing ③one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

3:17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
3:18 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
3:19 Husbands, love your wives and do not become bitter against them.
3:20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing ①to the Lord.
