28:1 Ahaz [was] twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:
28:1 아하스가 치리하기 시작할 때 이십 세였으며, 그가 예루살렘에서 십육 년을 치리하였더라. 그러나 그는 그의 조상 다윗같이 주의 목전에 옳은 것을 행하지 아니하였으니
28:2 For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim.
28:2 그가 이스라엘 왕들의 길로 행하였고, 바알들을 위하여 주조한 형상을 만들었으며,
28:3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.
28:3 또 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기에서 분향하고, 주께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아 내신 이방인의 가증함들을 따라 그의 자녀를 불살랐더라.
28:4 He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
28:4 그가 또 산당들과 작은 산들과 모든 푸른 나무 아래서 희생제를 드리고 분향하였더라.
28:5 Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought [them] to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter.
28:5 그러므로 주 그의 하나님께서 그를 시리아 왕의 손에 넘기셨으니, 그들이 그를 치고 큰 무리를 사로잡아 다마스커스로 데려갔더라. 또 그가 그를 이스라엘 왕의 손에도 넘기셨으니 이스라엘 왕이 그를 쳐서 크게 살륙하였더라.
28:6 For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, [which were] all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.
28:6 르말랴의 아들 페카가 유다에서 하루에 십이만을 죽였으니 그들이 모두 용사더라. 이는 그들이 그들 조상의 주 하나님을 버렸기 때문이더라.
28:7 And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the governor of the house, and Elkanah [that was] next to the king.
28:7 에프라임의 용사 시크리가 왕의 아들 마아세야와 궁을 관할하는 아스리캄과 왕 다음 서열인 엘카나를 죽였더라.
28:8 And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.
28:8 이스라엘 자손이 그들의 형제들 중 이십만 명을 사로잡아 갔으니, 여자들과 아들들과 딸들이요, 또 그들에게서 많은 탈취물을 빼앗아서 그 탈취물을 사마리아로 가져가니라.
28:9 But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name [was] Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was wroth with Judah, he hath delivered them into your hand, and ye have slain them in a rage [that] reacheth up unto heaven.
28:9 그러나 주의 선지자가 있었는데 그의 이름은 오뎃이라, 그가 사마리아로 가는 군대 앞에 나가서 그들에게 말하기를 "보라, 너희 조상의 주 하나님께서 유다에게 진노하사 그들을 너희 손에 넘기셨느니라. 그런데 너희가 하늘을 채우는 노여움으로 그들을 죽이고
28:10 And now ye purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: [but are there] not with you, even with you, sins against the LORD your God?
28:10 이제 유다와 예루살렘 자손을 압제하여 너희를 위하여 남종과 여종을 삼으려고 계획하고 있도다. 그러나 너희에게는, 참으로 너희에게는 주 너희 하나님을 거역하는 죄들이 없느냐?
28:11 Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which ye have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the LORD [is] upon you.
28:11 그러므로 이제 내 말을 듣고 너희가 너희 형제 중에서 사로잡아 온 자들을 다시 넘겨 주라. 이는 주의 맹렬한 분노가 너희 위에 계심이니라." 하더라.
28:12 Then certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war,
28:12 그때 에프라임 자손의 우두머리 중 몇 사람, 즉 요하난의 아들 아사랴와, 므실레못의 아들 베레키야와, 살룸의 아들 여히스키야와, 하들래의 아들 아마사가 전쟁에서 돌아온 그들을 막고 일어나서
28:13 And said unto them, Ye shall not bring in the captives hither: for whereas we have offended against the LORD [already], ye intend to add [more] to our sins and to our trespass: for our trespass is great, and [there is] fierce wrath against Israel.
28:13 그들에게 말하기를 "너희가 사로잡은 자들을 여기로 데려올 수 없으리라. 우리가 이미 주께 범죄하였는데, 너희가 우리의 죄들과 우리의 허물에 더하려 하는도다. 우리의 허물이 크므로 이스라엘을 대하여 맹렬한 분노가 있도다." 하더라.
28:14 So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the princes and all the congregation.
28:14 이에 무장한 자들이 고관들과 온 회중 앞에 사로잡은 자들과 탈취물을 두니
28:15 And the men which were expressed by name rose up, and took the captives, and with the spoil clothed all that were naked among them, and arrayed them, and shod them, and gave them to eat and to drink, and anointed them, and carried all the feeble of them upon asses, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees, to their brethren: then they returned to Samaria.
28:15 이름이 명시된 사람들이 일어나서 사로잡은 자들을 데리고 그들 중에 벌거벗은 모든 자들에게 탈취물로 옷 입히고, 차려 입히며, 신발을 신기고, 먹을 것과 마실 것을 주며, 기름을 발라 주고, 그들 중 모든 약한 자들을 나귀에 실어 종려나무 성읍 여리코로 그들의 형제들에게 데려다 주고 자신들은 사마리아로 돌아가니라.
28:16 At that time did king Ahaz send unto the kings of Assyria to help him.
28:16 그때 아하스왕이 앗시리아왕에게 보내어 도움을 청하였으니
28:17 For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and carried away captives.
28:17 이는 에돔인들이 다시 와서 유다를 쳐서 그 백성을 사로잡아 갔음이더라.
28:18 The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and they dwelt there.
28:18 필리스티아인들도 저지대와 유다의 남부의 성읍들을 침공하여 벧세메스와, 아야론과, 그데롯과, 소코와 그 고을들과, 팀나와 그 고을들과, 김소와 그 고을들을 취하고 그들이 거기서 거하더라.
28:19 For the LORD brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel; for he made Judah naked, and transgressed sore against the LORD.
28:19 이는 주께서 이스라엘의 아하스왕으로 인하여 유다를 낮추셨음이니, 그가 유다를 벌거벗겼고 주를 거스려 크게 범죄하였음이더라.
28:20 And Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria came unto him, and distressed him, but strengthened him not.
28:20 앗시리아의 틸갓필네셀왕이 그에게 왔으나 그를 괴롭힐 뿐 그를 돕지 아니하더라.
28:21 For Ahaz took away a portion [out] of the house of the LORD, and [out] of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave [it] unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not.
28:21 아하스가 주의 전과 왕궁과 고관들에게서 한 분깃을 취하여 앗시리아 왕에게 주었으나 그가 아하스를 돕지 아니하더라.
28:22 And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the LORD: this [is that] king Ahaz.
28:22 아하스가 고난 중에 있을 때에 주를 거역하여 더 많이 범죄하니라. 이것이 그 아하스왕이더라.
28:23 For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, [therefore] will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.
28:23 그가 자기를 친 다마스커스의 신들에게 희생제를 바치며 말하기를 "시리아왕들의 신들이 그들을 도왔으므로 나도 그 신들에게 희생제를 바쳐 그 신들로 나를 돕게 하리라." 하더라. 그러나 그 신들이 그와 온 이스라엘의 패망이 되었더라.
28:24 And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD, and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.
28:24 아하스가 하나님의 전의 기명들을 한 데 모아 하나님의 전의 기명들을 산산조각 내었으며 주의 전의 문들을 닫아 버리고 예루살렘 모든 모퉁이마다 그를 위한 제단들을 만들었으며
28:25 And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his fathers.
28:25 또 유다의 각 성읍에 다른 신들에게 분향할 산당들을 만들어 그의 조상의 주 하나님을 분노케 하였더라.
28:26 Now the rest of his acts and of all his ways, first and last, behold, they [are] written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
28:26 그의 나머지 행적과 모든 행실의 처음과 나중은, 보라, 유다와 이스라엘의 열왕기에 기록되어 있느니라.
28:27 And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, [even] in Jerusalem: but they brought him not into the sepulchres of the kings of Israel: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead.
28:27 아하스가 그의 조상들과 함께 잠드니 백성이 그를 그 성읍, 즉 예루살렘에 장사 하였으나 이스라엘 왕들의 묘에는 들이지 아니하였더라. 그의 아들 히스키야가 그를 대신하여 왕이 되니라.
