22:1 Then David said, This [is] the house of the LORD God, and this [is] the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.
22:1 그때에 다윗이 말하기를 "이것이 주 하나님의 전이요, 이것이 이스라엘을 위한 번제단이라." 하였더라.
22:2 And David commanded to gather together the strangers that [were] in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.
22:2 다윗이 명하여 이스라엘 땅에 거하는 타국인들을 모으게 하고, 석공들을 시켜 하나님의 전을 세울 돌들을 다듬게 하였더라.
22:3 And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;
22:3 다윗이 입구의 문을 위한 못과 걸이못에 쓸 철을 풍부하게 준비하고, 놋도 달 수 없을 만큼 풍부하게 준비하였으며
22:4 Also cedar trees in abundance: for the Zidonians and they of Tyre brought much cedar wood to David.
22:4 백향목도 풍부하게 준비하였으니, 이는 시돈인들과 투로인들이 다윗에게 백향목을 많이 가져왔음이더라.
22:5 And David said, Solomon my son [is] young and tender, and the house [that is] to be builded for the LORD [must be] exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will [therefore] now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
22:5 다윗이 말하기를 "내 아들 솔로몬은 어리고 연약하도다. 주를 위하여 건축되는 전은 심히 웅장하여 만국에 명성과 영광이 있어야 하니라. 그러므로 내가 이제 그것을 위하여 준비하리라." 하고 그가 죽기 전에 풍부하게 준비하였더라.
22:6 Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the LORD God of Israel.
22:6 그리고 그가 그의 아들 솔로몬을 불러 이스라엘의 주 하나님을 위하여 전을 건축할 것을 그에게 당부하였으니
22:7 And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:
22:7 다윗이 솔로몬에게 말하기를 "내 아들아, 나로 말하면, 주 나의 하나님의 이름을 위하여 전을 건축할 마음이 있었으나
22:8 But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
22:8 주의 말씀이 내게 임하여 말씀하시기를 '너는 피를 많이 흘렸고 큰 전쟁들을 치렀으니, 너는 내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하지 말라. 이는 네가 내 앞에서 땅에 많은 피를 흘렸음이라.
22:9 Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.
22:9 보라, 한 아들이 네게 태어나리니, 그는 안식의 사람이 되리라. 내가 그에게 그의 주위의 모든 원수들로부터 안식을 주리라. 그의 이름을 솔로몬이라 하라. 내가 그의 시대에 이스라엘에 화평과 평안을 주리라.
22:10 He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I [will be] his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.
22:10 그가 내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하리니, 그는 내 아들이 되고 나는 그의 아버지가 되리라. 내가 이스라엘 위에 그의 왕국의 보좌를 영원히 견고하게 세우리라.' 하셨나니
22:11 Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee.
22:11 이제 내 아들아, 주께서 너와 함께 하시기를 원하노라. 너는 번성하여 주께서 너에 관해 말씀하신 대로 주 너의 하나님의 전을 건축할지니라.
22:12 Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.
22:12 오직 주께서 네게 지혜와 명철을 주시고, 이스라엘과 관련된 책무를 네게 주시어 너로 주 너의 하나님의 명령을 지키게 하시기를 원하노라.
22:13 Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.
22:13 네가 만일 주께서 이스라엘과 관련하여 모세에게 명하신 규례들과 명령들을 주의하여 이행하면 번성하리라. 강하고 담대하라. 무서워하지 말고 낙심치 말라.
22:14 Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.
22:14 보라, 내가 나의 고난 가운데서도 주의 전을 위하여 금 십만 달란트와 은 일백만 달란트와, 심히 많으므로 무게를 달지 못한 놋과 철을 준비하였으며, 목재와 석재도 준비하였으나, 네가 거기에 더 보탤지니라.
22:15 Moreover [there are] workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.
22:15 또 네게 기술자가 많이 있으니, 채석공과 석공과 목수와, 온갖 일에 익숙한 여러 장인들이며
22:16 Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, [there is] no number. Arise [therefore], and be doing, and the LORD be with thee.
22:16 금과 은과 놋과 철제품이 무수하니, 그러므로 너는 일어나 일하라. 주께서 너와 함께 하시기를 원하노라." 하더라.
22:17 David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, [saying],
22:17 다윗이 또 이스라엘의 모든 고관들에게 그의 아들 솔로몬을 도울 것을 명하여 말하기를
22:18 [Is] not the LORD your God with you? and hath he [not] given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.
22:18 "주 너희 하나님께서 너희와 함께 계시지 아니하냐? 그가 사면에서 너희에게 평안을 주지 아니하셨느냐? 이는 그가 이 땅의 거민을 내 손에 주셔서 이 땅으로 주와 그의 백성 앞에 복종하게 하셨기 때문이라.
22:19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.
22:19 이제 너희는 너희 마음과 혼을 정하여 주 너희 하나님을 찾으라. 그러므로 너희는 일어나서 주 하나님의 성소를 건축하고, 주의 언약궤와 하나님의 거룩한 기명들을 주의 이름으로 건축된 전으로 가져오라." 하였더라.
22:1 그때에 다윗이 말하기를 "이것이 주 하나님의 전이요, 이것이 이스라엘을 위한 번제단이라." 하였더라.
22:2 And David commanded to gather together the strangers that [were] in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.
22:2 다윗이 명하여 이스라엘 땅에 거하는 타국인들을 모으게 하고, 석공들을 시켜 하나님의 전을 세울 돌들을 다듬게 하였더라.
22:3 And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;
22:3 다윗이 입구의 문을 위한 못과 걸이못에 쓸 철을 풍부하게 준비하고, 놋도 달 수 없을 만큼 풍부하게 준비하였으며

22:4 백향목도 풍부하게 준비하였으니, 이는 시돈인들과 투로인들이 다윗에게 백향목을 많이 가져왔음이더라.

22:5 다윗이 말하기를 "내 아들 솔로몬은 어리고 연약하도다. 주를 위하여 건축되는 전은 심히 웅장하여 만국에 명성과 영광이 있어야 하니라. 그러므로 내가 이제 그것을 위하여 준비하리라." 하고 그가 죽기 전에 풍부하게 준비하였더라.
22:6 Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the LORD God of Israel.
22:6 그리고 그가 그의 아들 솔로몬을 불러 이스라엘의 주 하나님을 위하여 전을 건축할 것을 그에게 당부하였으니
22:7 And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:
22:7 다윗이 솔로몬에게 말하기를 "내 아들아, 나로 말하면, 주 나의 하나님의 이름을 위하여 전을 건축할 마음이 있었으나
22:8 But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
22:8 주의 말씀이 내게 임하여 말씀하시기를 '너는 피를 많이 흘렸고 큰 전쟁들을 치렀으니, 너는 내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하지 말라. 이는 네가 내 앞에서 땅에 많은 피를 흘렸음이라.
22:9 Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.
22:9 보라, 한 아들이 네게 태어나리니, 그는 안식의 사람이 되리라. 내가 그에게 그의 주위의 모든 원수들로부터 안식을 주리라. 그의 이름을 솔로몬이라 하라. 내가 그의 시대에 이스라엘에 화평과 평안을 주리라.
22:10 He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I [will be] his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.
22:10 그가 내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하리니, 그는 내 아들이 되고 나는 그의 아버지가 되리라. 내가 이스라엘 위에 그의 왕국의 보좌를 영원히 견고하게 세우리라.' 하셨나니
22:11 Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee.
22:11 이제 내 아들아, 주께서 너와 함께 하시기를 원하노라. 너는 번성하여 주께서 너에 관해 말씀하신 대로 주 너의 하나님의 전을 건축할지니라.
22:12 Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.
22:12 오직 주께서 네게 지혜와 명철을 주시고, 이스라엘과 관련된 책무를 네게 주시어 너로 주 너의 하나님의 명령을 지키게 하시기를 원하노라.

22:14 보라, 내가 나의 고난 가운데서도 주의 전을 위하여 금 십만 달란트와 은 일백만 달란트와, 심히 많으므로 무게를 달지 못한 놋과 철을 준비하였으며, 목재와 석재도 준비하였으나, 네가 거기에 더 보탤지니라.
22:15 Moreover [there are] workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.
22:15 또 네게 기술자가 많이 있으니, 채석공과 석공과 목수와, 온갖 일에 익숙한 여러 장인들이며
22:16 Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, [there is] no number. Arise [therefore], and be doing, and the LORD be with thee.
22:16 금과 은과 놋과 철제품이 무수하니, 그러므로 너는 일어나 일하라. 주께서 너와 함께 하시기를 원하노라." 하더라.
22:17 David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, [saying],
22:17 다윗이 또 이스라엘의 모든 고관들에게 그의 아들 솔로몬을 도울 것을 명하여 말하기를
22:18 [Is] not the LORD your God with you? and hath he [not] given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.
22:18 "주 너희 하나님께서 너희와 함께 계시지 아니하냐? 그가 사면에서 너희에게 평안을 주지 아니하셨느냐? 이는 그가 이 땅의 거민을 내 손에 주셔서 이 땅으로 주와 그의 백성 앞에 복종하게 하셨기 때문이라.
