75:1 We give thanks unto thee, O God; We give thanks, for thy name is near: Men tell of thy wondrous works.
75:1 {For the choir director; [set to] Al-tashheth. A Psalm of Asaph, a Song.} We give thanks to Thee, O God, we give thanks, For Thy name is near; Men declare Thy wondrous works.
75:2 When I shall find the set time, I will judge uprightly.
75:2 "When I select an appointed time, It is I who judge with equity.
75:3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have set up the pillars of it. (Selah)
75:3 "The earth and all who dwell in it melt; It is I who have firmly set its pillars. Selah.
75:4 I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly; And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
75:4 "I said to the boastful, 'Do not boast,' And to the wicked, 'Do not lift up the horn;
75:5 Lift not up your horn on high; Speak not with a stiff neck.
75:5 Do not lift up your horn on high, Do not speak with insolent pride. ' "
75:6 For neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor yet from the south, (cometh) lifting up.
75:6 For not from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the desert [comes] exaltation;
75:7 But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and lifteth up another.
75:7 But God is the Judge; He puts down one, and exalts another.
75:8 For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and the wine foameth; It is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same: Surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.
75:8 For a cup is in the hand of the LORD, and the wine foams; It is well mixed, and He pours out of this; Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain [and] drink down its dregs.
75:9 But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
75:9 But as for me, I will declare [it] forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
75:10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; But the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
75:10 And all the horns of the wicked He will cut off, [But] the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.
