65:1 Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; And unto thee shall the vow be performed.
65:1 {For the choir director. A Psalm of David. A Song.} There will be silence before Thee, [and] praise in Zion, O God; And to Thee the vow will be performed.
65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come.
65:2 O Thou who dost hear prayer, To Thee all men come.
65:3 Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.
65:3 Iniquities prevail against me; As for our transgressions, Thou dost forgive them.
65:4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach (unto thee), That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple.
65:4 How blessed is the one whom Thou dost choose, and bring near [to Thee], To dwell in Thy courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, Thy holy temple.
65:5 By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, Oh God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea:
65:5 By awesome [deeds] Thou dost answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, Thou who art the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea;
65:6 Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might;
65:6 Who dost establish the mountains by His strength, Being girded with might;
65:7 Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.
65:7 Who dost still the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.
65:8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
65:8 And they who dwell in the ends [of the earth] stand in awe of Thy signs; Thou dost make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.
65:9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth.
65:9 Thou dost visit the earth, and cause it to overflow; Thou dost greatly enrich it; The stream of God is full of water; Thou dost prepare their grain, for thus Thou dost prepare the earth.
65:10 Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof.
65:10 Thou dost water its furrows abundantly; Thou dost settle its ridges; Thou dost soften it with showers; Thou dost bless its growth.
65:11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness.
65:11 Thou hast crowned the year with Thy bounty, And Thy paths drip [with] fatness.
65:12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.
65:12 The pastures of the wilderness drip, And the hills gird themselves with rejoicing.
65:13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered over with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.
65:13 The meadows are clothed with flocks, And the valleys are covered with grain; They shout for joy, yes, they sing.
