39:8 And he made the breastpiece, the work of a skillful workman, like the workmanship of the ephod: of gold [and] of blue and purple and scarlet [material] and fine twisted linen.

39:9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being double.
39:9 It was square; they made the breastpiece folded double, a span long and a span wide when folded double.

39:14 And the stones were corresponding to the names of the sons of Israel; they were twelve, corresponding to their names, [engraved with] the engravings of a signet, each with its name for the twelve tribes.

39:20 Furthermore, they made two gold rings and placed them on the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, on the front of it, close to the place where it joined, above the woven band of the ephod.

39:21 And they did bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be upon the skilfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as Jehovah commanded Moses.
